Our Development Committee
Fundraising at St Catherine's School
The responsibility for fundraising at St Catherine's School lies with the Development Committee which was established by the Council in 2001 to coordinate the capital fundraising at the School, thereby establishing a continuing, wholly integrated culture of philanthropy within the School community.
The Development Committee works closely with the Director of Development to facilitate Capital Campaigns, Annual Giving Appeals, Bequests and to identify prospective donors. The Chair of the Development Committee is always a member of the School Council.
The Development Committee aim to:
- Promote a culture of giving and philanthropy with the School community
- Encourage and facilitate gifts to the School, which includes facilitating Capital Campaigns, Annual Giving Appeals, Bequests and identifying prospective donors
- Recognise those members of the School community who support the School.
