The Future Spark Bike Trailer

Today students will discover how much personal energy is required to power common household items.

The Future Spark Bike Trailer is parked at St Catherine's today! The aim of the initiative is to provide students with both an individual and collaborative physical experience of the personal energy required to create the power for common household items. The Future Spark Power Trailer has 12 bikes, each connected to a generator positioned behind each bike. Today students from Year 9 Science, Year 9 Geography and Years 3 and 4 will participate in the program - developing their awareness of energy and sustainability issues.
