Our Snowsports Program
For those who love the snow!
The Snowsports program at St Catherine's School has a record of high participation and achievement.
The aim of the program is to develop skills, independence, sportsmanship and great team spirit.
We offer Snowsports to students from Prep to Year 12. As a member of this team all students are given the opportunity to participate in many activities and competitions.
All Snowsports students are included in the House Snowsports competition which includes Alpine, Snowboard, Moguls and Cross Country events. Time trials and clinics are conducted throughout the day.
The School team is selected from these trials and attendance at dry land training held throughout Terms 2 and 3. The School team competes at the Victorian Interschools Championships which are held over one week in August. The School also enters teams in to the Australian Interschools Championships.
Snowsports Auxiliary
The Snowsports Auxiliary is affiliated with the St Catherine's Parents' and Friends' Association, and exists to encourage and facilitate our students' participation in Snowsports.

April to August: Dry Land Training before School (held weekly)
July: House Snowsports Day and Training Weekends held at Mt Buller
Early August: Victorian Interschools Cross Country Competition held at Mt Buller
Late August: Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships held at Mt Buller
Mid-September: Australian Interschools Snowsports Championships
Mid-October: Snowsports Presentation Dinner
